Smoke Alarm Testing Services (SATS) is a professional smoke alarm testing company that is locally owned and operated, and has extensive partnerships within the Real Estate Industry throughout Australia and New Zealand. From its humble beginnings, SATS has flourished to become one of the leading compliance partners in the industry.
We performed real-time data synchronization for their website with the ServiceM8 portal (which is used by them). As a result, SATS and property owners can view updated records in a very user-friendly way with easy access, which was their need.
Key Features
- Property-owners/ client can see the details for each property, regarding smoke alarms, activities related to them, and compliance certificates.
- Admins can handle and manage compliance data, reminders, job data, and job activity data easily.

Challenges
- They were managing smoke alert records like compliance certificates, jobs, job activity data on the ServiceM8 portal. They required a Web portal where they and property-owners could have updated records with user-friendly views, so that the concerned parties could have easy access to the details by logging in to the website.
- ServiceM8 is a job management software for trade contractors and home-service businesses, or any kind of small business which manages jobs and staff in the field.
- Real-time synchronization was needed from the serviceM8 portal on the client's website so that they could have updated job-details.

- We implemented serviceM8 APIs to get realtime records to the website.
- We summarized Jobs and their activities, and synchronized, to view nicely on their website with easy access.
